The service

NapkinLedger provides bookkeeping software for small businesses: top-down entries, balance confirmations, income statements, reminders, and related features. It is software, not accounting, tax, or legal advice.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your account credentials safe. One subscription covers one business account.

Subscription & billing

The plan costs $3 per month, billed annually ($36/year) in advance. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse engineering, no scraping, no reselling access, no unlawful use.

Your data

You own your data. We store it, back it up, and make it exportable — but you remain responsible for your records' completeness for tax purposes.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days ahead.
